Access statement

Parking for Anchor Cottage is in Quay Street which runs alongside the sea defence wall and is level.

The front door of the cottage is down two steps (with hand rail) from the street. Once inside the front door another two steps down takes you into the hall. The stairs, with banisters and hand rail on wall, lead directly off the hall to the two bedrooms and the bathroom.

The doorway into the kitchen is a small step up from the hall. A step up off the kitchen leads to the downstairs WC and the back door. The back door has protection from flooding with a low level wall across the threshold.

Steps outside the back door which have a hand rail give access to the secluded patio which is lit at night. The steps are very steep and young children should be supervised at all times.

Blenheim Gardens and Minehead shopping centre are a short and level walk away as is the Old Ship Aground public house on the Quay.
