AccommodationAnchor Cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and has been awarded 4 stars for a number of years. Full gas central heating, spacious lounge, open fire (logs supplied) telephone, 20" flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD. Local walking books and guides provided for guests use. DVD's and board games. Fully fitted kitchen, gas cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board and iron, coffee maker. Upstairs bathroom with bath and power shower, shaver point, WC. Two bedrooms, one with double bed, the second with two 3ft wide beds. All bed linen and towels provided. The front bedroom looks directly over the sea to the coast of Wales and to the east to the Quantock Hills and the islands of Steep Holm and Flat Holm. Blenheim Gardens and Minehead shopping centre are a short level walk away as is the Old Ship Aground pub on the Quay. Steps built into hill at rear of the cottage give access from the kitchen lobby to a secluded patio (lit at night) with uninterrupted views out to sea. |
